A. Expression of Asking and Giving Hope
         Hope is to want something to happen or to be true, and usually have a good reason to think that it might. Here are the expressions.

Expression of Hope :

B. Expression of Congratulation
      
        Congratulation is something that you say want you when to congratulate someone. Here are some Expression and their response!

C. Expression of Agreement
            Agreement is when the people have the same opinion, or when they approve of or accept something. Pay attention to these expressions!

D. Expression of suggestion
         Suggestion is an idea, plan or action that is suggesting it. Pay attention to the example!

UNIT 2
You Should Get Up Early

 1.    Label
Label
is a small piece of paper or other material which gives information about the thing it is fixed to. Label is a piece of paper, polymer, cloth, metal, or other material affixed to a container or article, on which is print a legend.

2.    Grammar review
·       Plural and singular
Plural is a word or part of a word which shows that you are talking about more than one person or thing. For example ‘babies’ is the plural form of baby. While singular is a form of word that is used to talk about one person or thing. For example ‘woman’ is the singular form of ‘women’.
·       Conjunction “to, in order to, and so that”
a.     To
To + Verb
                        Examples        :
§  I’m going to Ireland to visit my family
§  I went to the post office to buy some stamps
b.    So that
So + that – clause
Purpose can be expressed with the preposition so followed by a that-clause (almost always with a modal can, will, or may). Informally, that is omitted. (do not place a comma before so because it changes the meaning to “result”.)

c.     In order to
In order to + infinitive
Purpose can be expressed with the prepositional phrase in order allowed by an infinitive clause or a that-clause (almost always with a modal may or might). The prepositional phrase in order is often omitted in informal speech.

·       Modal “should, must not, and have to”
a.     Should
You should stop smoking
b.    Must
If they’re out, they mustn’t have heard the news
c.     Have to
 I have to come at 8 a.m. or my boss will fire me.

UNIT 3
How to Operate ATM?

1.    Recipe
Recipe is a set of instructions that describes how to prepare or make something, especially a culinary dish, including a list of what food is needed for this. It is also used in medicine or in information technology (user acceptance). A doctor will usually begin a prescription with recipe, usually abbreviated to Rx or an equivalent symbol.

2.    Manual
·       definition
Manual is a book that tells you how to use something or do something. In this case is some tools. The manual contains important information about tools we want to use.
·       Sentence used in manual
In manual, the sentence used is imperative sentence. It is form of a verb used to express an order.
·       The expressions to ask about how tools are used
Sometimes when we buy electronic tools or something, we can ask the seller or someone else how to operate it.
·       Tools used in manual
Manual usually explains about how to operate or something. It could be power tools, mechanic tools, automotive tools, office tools, etc.
3.    Present continuous
Present continuous is the tense which we use to refer to actions or events that are happening now or developing. The sentences “the children are watching television” and “the weather is getting colder” are in the present continuous.
4.    Past continuous
past continuous is a grammatical tense used to describe an action which someone was doing or an event which was happening at a particular time. It is made with ‘was’ or ‘were’ and the –ing form of a verb.
5.    Future continuous

We use will be doing (future continuous) to say that we will be in middle of doing something at a certain time in the future. The football match begins at 7.30 and ends at 9.15. so during this time, for example at 8.30, Tom will be watching the match.
